Swastika Gurung have been released officially from Vistare Foundation Girls’
Home on 30 May 2022
Vistare holds it worth cherishing one more success story. Vistare resident
girl named Swastika Gurung was released from Vistare Foundation Girls’ Home
(VFGH) on 30th May, 2022. She is 10+2 graduate in Humanities Faculty and is
now pursuing BASW. Here is an excerpt of her opinion towards VFGH:

Swastika Gurung says – «I would like to express my gratitude to the
organization from the core of my heart for the immense opportunity and for
making me who I am today. I am very much grateful to have got the
opportunity to spend my childhood in Vistare and everything provided to me
beyond imagination. As nothing remains the same forever, being a girl of
VFGH is the best thing that has occurred in my life and now I am looking
forward to my new journey and a way of life. I am thankful for the education
provided, skills and activities taught to me here. This home has provided me
with an immense opportunity to learn and get bold. No one is sure of what
tomorrow brings. So, I am very excited and nervous at the same time for my
new journey. Though overcoming the obstacles might be much more difficult in
my upcoming days, I will be more thankful for the new experience and try to
tackle them. The memories of VFGH Vistare moments spent together will always
remain fresh in my memories. I will also be in touch with all and will be
available whenever the organization requires me’’.

Swastika Gurung stayed in VFGH 10 years and10 months (17 August 2011 to 30
May, 2022). VFGH is very happy that she has become independent; she can
independently continue her further study and her life. We believe that it
should be essence of Vistare – teach girls to be independent.
