Update – Third phase lock down resulted by new variant of COVID-19

In regards to current update of the organization at this crisis, here in Nepal it is very difficult condition because of the fear of new variant of COVID-19. School and colleges have been shut down physically and have started the online classes through ZOOM App. Condition is not normal, the fear is increasing day by day; but it is already one year that we have witnessed such adverse conditions and we should not panic but be alert and safe only. Entire nation is in dilemma of what will be the next worst situation. As Government has declared the lock down 3rd time in Nepal, it has scheduled from 29th April 2021, for 15 days and we don’t know it will be normal after 15 days or the lockdown will be extended for many more days or months . Lock down is needed to avoid the spread and contact of the virus in current situation. And this lock down is going to create such a situation for us in which it will be very difficult to run day to day activities. Because the markets are closing down gradually, causing shortage of day to day used goods. The hospitals are flooded with patients and are facing shortage of oxygen. Most of the people, who had been staying in Kathmandu valley, have started to go back to their villages in order to avoid contact of this virus.

Nevertheless, let us be positive. This new variant case of COVID-19 will make us learn to survive and cope the difficult situations. We have prepared the stock of the medicine & food for a month. Hope this condition will be alright and everything will be normal soon. Girls will attend their online classes regularly, and for the extracurricular activities, the special indoor program for the girls during this bad condition will be carried out. Everyone is alert taking precautionary measures such as wearing mask while going out, avoiding mass meetings, maintaining distance and washing hands as frequently as possible.
